Donation policy.
This policy explains how AirCover receives gifts, handles donor designations, reviews restricted gifts, and communicates donation use.
Gift acceptance
AirCover accepts charitable gifts that support its mission and comply with applicable law, organizational policies, and charitable-purpose restrictions. AirCover may decline gifts that create legal, reputational, operational, or mission-alignment concerns.
Restricted and designated gifts
Donors may designate gifts to general support, an impact fund, or an eligible verified campaign. AirCover honors donor designations where feasible while maintaining final responsibility for charitable use, compliance, and partner eligibility.
Refunds
Donation refunds are reviewed case by case. If a gift was made in error, donors should contact donation@aircoverinternational.org as soon as possible with the gift date, amount, donor name, and receipt information.
Anonymous giving
Donors may request anonymous public recognition. Anonymous gifts are not publicly listed by donor name, but AirCover maintains internal gift records needed for receipts, compliance, financial reporting, and impact attribution.
Fees and proceeds
Payment processors may deduct transaction fees. When campaign or platform services apply, AirCover discloses the relevant structure before accepting the gift or sponsorship. Net proceeds support AirCover's charitable mission and the donor's selected purpose where a restriction is accepted.
Receipts and tax note
AirCover provides donation receipts by email when a gift is processed. Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donors should consult their own tax advisor.
