§ Building governance, openly
Governance Roadmap.
AirCover International is formalizing its independent board, advisory council, and operational governance. We publish the roadmap publicly because trust depends on honesty about what's complete and what's still being built.

- 501(c)(3) federal recognition
- Texas incorporation and bylaws
- Conflict of Interest policy adoption
- Initial governance documents
- Founding team operational leadership
Phase 2 — Independent Board (in progress)
- Recruitment of independent board members
- Board diversity and expertise mapping (philanthropy, nonprofit governance, finance, legal, technology, social impact)
- Adoption of full board governance policies
- Board committee structures (Audit, Finance, Governance, Programs)
- Public publication of board composition
Phase 3 — Advisory Council (in progress)
- Domain-expert advisory council appointments
- Advisory areas: emergency response, education, women & family programs, health, technology for good, partner vetting
- Public publication of advisory council members
- Advisory engagement framework
Phase 4 — Reporting Maturity (year 1+)
- First Form 990 filing

Phase 5 — Sustained Practice (ongoing)

We chose to publish the roadmap rather than invent the destination. That's how this becomes credible.
